Referral Program

A Referral Program lets you run a structured invite campaign with a clear goal and a defined reward. Progress starts at zero from the moment you create the program — historical invites don’t count.

How it works

You set a goal (for example, 100 new invites), define a reward for reaching it, and optionally a deadline. The platform snapshots current invite counts when the program is created, so only new invites from that point forward count toward the goal. Members can check progress at any time by typing /referral in Discord.

Creating a program

1. Go to Growth → Referral Program
2. Click Create Program
3. Fill in:
   • Program name — something memorable (e.g. “Summer Invite Drive”)
   • Description — explain what it’s about and why members should participate
   • Invite goal — how many new invites are needed to unlock the reward
   • Reward — select from your rewards catalog or type a custom reward. If you type a custom one you can check Save to rewards catalog to add it for future use.
   • End date (optional) — create urgency by setting a deadline
4. Click Create — the program is live immediately and the leaderboard starts fresh

Tracking progress

The program page shows:

• Current invite count vs. the goal (only invites since the program started)
• A progress bar that fills as new invites come in
• A leaderboard titled after your program showing each member’s invite count during the program

The /referral Discord command

Members can type /referral in any channel to see a live update of the active program — including the progress bar, reward, and top inviters. No need to visit the dashboard.

Starting a new program

Only one program can be active at a time. Creating a new program automatically ends the current one and resets the leaderboard to zero. Past programs are shown in the Past Programs section for reference.

Tips

• Make the reward specific. “VIP role for the top inviter + shoutout every week” motivates more than “something special.”
• Announce the program in multiple channels when you launch it.
• Post /referral progress updates regularly — seeing the bar at 80% pushes people to close the gap.
