Server Lockdown is an emergency tool. When activated, all text and announcement channels are immediately hidden from every member — regardless of their roles. Only server administrators retain access. One click to lock, one click to restore everything exactly as it was.

When to use it

  • Raid or spam attack — cut off all visibility immediately while you deal with the situation
  • Server compromise — isolate the server while you audit permissions and remove bad actors
  • Structural changes — keep members out while you reorganize channels or roles

Activating a lockdown

  1. Go to Community → Server Lockdown
  2. Click Lock server now
  3. Confirm in the dialog
The bot immediately denies VIEW_CHANNEL on every text and announcement channel. Members see an empty server. Administrators are unaffected — this is enforced by Discord itself.

Lifting the lockdown

  1. Go back to Community → Server Lockdown
  2. Click Unlock server
  3. Confirm in the dialog
The bot restores the exact original permission overwrites from before the lockdown. All role-based access returns to normal.
Lockdown hides all channels instantly with no warning to members. Use it only when necessary and communicate what happened as soon as you can — through social media, a Discord announcement after unlocking, or direct messages to key members.
