A Public Raffle gives your community a dedicated web page where anyone can buy tickets and enter. You set the prize, the ticket price (or make it free), and the end date. When the time comes, you draw the winners manually from your dashboard.

How it works

Each raffle gets a unique public link (e.g. apetopia.co/r/your-raffle). Share that link with your community — members open it and enter:
  • Free raffles — members click Enter with Discord and authorize with their Discord account. No wallet needed.
  • Paid raffles — members connect a Phantom wallet and send the ticket price in SOL on-chain.
When the raffle ends, you draw winners from the dashboard and the results are displayed on the raffle page.

Creating a raffle

  1. Go to Community → Public Raffle
  2. Click Create Raffle with Tickets
  3. Fill in the details:
    • Title — the name of the raffle
    • Description — the prize and any other details
    • Ticket price (SOL) — set to 0 for a free raffle
    • Max tickets — leave blank for unlimited entries
    • Number of winners — how many winners will be drawn
    • Ends at — when ticket sales close
  4. Click Create Raffle
  5. Copy the raffle link and share it with your community

Drawing winners

Winners are not drawn automatically. When the raffle ends:
  1. Expand the raffle in your dashboard
  2. Click Draw Winners — winners are selected randomly from all ticket holders
  3. Results are shown on the raffle page and in your dashboard

Revenue split

When tickets have a price, Apetopia takes a small platform fee. The remaining percentage goes directly to your wallet. The exact split is shown in the raffle form before you create it. Your dashboard also shows the net SOL you’ve earned per raffle (total collected minus the platform fee) so you always know what you’ll receive.

Tips

  • Use public raffles for big moments: hitting a membership milestone, celebrating an anniversary, or launching something new.
  • Cap entries if you want to create urgency (“only 100 spots available”).
  • Announce the raffle link across all your channels to maximize participation.
