The Whitelist Manager lets you create sign-up lists for any exclusive opportunity your community offers. Members join by clicking a button in Discord, and you export the list whenever you need it.

What a whitelist is for

A whitelist is a reservation list. You define the details, post it to Discord, and members claim their spot with a single click. Common uses include:
  • Early access to a product or feature launch
  • Reserved seats for a live event or stream
  • Priority entry to a sale, drop, or giveaway
  • Sign-ups for a private channel or beta program

Creating a whitelist

  1. Go to Community → Whitelist Manager
  2. Click New Whitelist
  3. Fill in the details:
    • Name — what this list is for
    • Description — shown on the Discord embed
    • Max spots — leave blank for unlimited
    • Closes at — optional deadline for sign-ups
    • Post in channel — the Discord channel where the embed will be posted
  4. Optionally set access restrictions (see below)
  5. Click Save as draft
The whitelist is saved but not yet visible in Discord.

Posting to Discord

When ready, click the green Post button on the whitelist. Apetopia posts an embed to the selected channel with a Join Whitelist button. Members click it to add themselves — no commands needed. You can Close or Reopen a whitelist at any time to stop or resume accepting sign-ups.

Access restrictions

When creating a whitelist you can restrict who is allowed to join:
OptionWho can enter
(none)Any member of the Discord server
Required roleOnly members with a specific role
Require verified walletOnly members who have linked a wallet via /verify
Holders onlyOnly verified NFT holders (wallet linked + holds NFTs)
Restrictions can be combined — for example, a specific role and a verified wallet.

Managing entries

Click any whitelist row to expand it and see who has joined. From there you can:
  • View the full list of entries with Discord username and wallet address
  • Export CSV — download all entries as a spreadsheet
  • Close / Reopen — stop or resume accepting new sign-ups
  • Delete — permanently remove the whitelist and all its entries

Tips

  • Cap spots to create urgency — members are more likely to act quickly when they see limited availability.
  • Close the whitelist manually once you have enough sign-ups, even before the deadline.
  • Use Required role to limit sign-ups to a specific tier of your community without requiring NFT verification.
