# Server Report

> An AI-written daily summary of your Discord server, delivered automatically every day.

The **Server Report** is an automatic AI-written summary of your Discord community's activity, posted to your server once a day at a time you choose. Your team wakes up to a clear recap of what happened — member changes, message activity, top contributors, and more — without having to log into the dashboard.

## How it works

Silverback reads a source channel (where your community talks), generates an AI summary of the activity, and posts it to a delivery channel of your choice — once a day at the time you set.

## Setting it up

1. Go to **Silverback → Server Report**
2. Enable the toggle
3. Select the **summary channel** — the channel Silverback reads to generate the report
4. Select the **delivery channel** — where the report gets posted (e.g. a private staff channel)
5. Set the **delivery time** and **timezone**
6. Save — the bot handles the rest automatically

Use **Send test report** to verify the bot has access to both channels before going live.

## Tips

* Post the report to a private staff channel so your team starts each day informed without cluttering public channels.
* Make sure the bot has **Read Message History** in the summary channel and **Send Messages** in the delivery channel.
