# Cross-Collection

> Discover which other NFT collections your holders are investing in.

Cross-Collection Scan automatically scans your holders' wallets and shows you the top 15 other NFT collections they own. Unlike [Wallet Overlap](https://www.apetopia.co/dashboard/insights/wallet-overlap) — where you choose a specific collection to compare against — this tool discovers everything on its own. No input needed.

  This is a **Pro** plan feature. You need at least one Holder Snapshot before running a scan — go to [**Holder Snapshot**](https://www.apetopia.co/dashboard/holders) and run a scan first.

## How it works

1. Select which wallets to scan:
   * **Whales only** — up to 50 holders above the whale threshold (≥1% of supply). Faster and focused on your most invested community members.
   * **All holders (top 50)** — your top 50 holders by NFT count. Broader picture of the community.
2. Click **Scan** — each wallet is checked for what other NFT collections it holds
3. Results show the **top 15 other collections**, ranked by how many of your holders own them

Scans are available **once per day**. The button shows how many hours until the next scan is available.

## What you'll see

A ranked list of other collections, each showing:

* **Collection name and image**
* **Number of your holders** that also own that collection
* **Bar chart** showing relative popularity among your holder base

## Difference from Wallet Overlap

## Practical uses

* **Find collab targets**: The collections that appear most often are your best candidates for joint giveaways or cross-promotions — their audiences are already invested in your space.
* **Market research**: Understand which projects are competing for the same holder wallets.
* **Community insights**: See what your whales are holding — these are signals about where the money in your ecosystem is going.
